Philippe Arbour fait carrière en investissements et capital privé à Londres. Philippe est le président de Tresmares Capital UK, un fond de capital privé spécialisant dans les financements d?acquisition ainsi que les investissements minoritaires. Avant Tresmares, Philippe était Managing Director chez Intermediate Capital Group (ICG), et auraparant était associé chez Palamon Capital Partners, un groupe de «private equity» se spécialisant en investissements majoritaires dans des sociétés européennes. Avant de se joindre à Palamon en 2013, il fit carrière pendant 10 ans au sein du Lloyds Banking Group. En 2010, il fit un stage chez 3i PLC, un groupe britannique de capital de risque. Philippe possède le titre de CFA et a obtenu une maîtrise en finance et investissement de l?Université Durham (UK) ainsi qu?un baccalauréat en administration des affaires de l?Université Bishop?s (Honours Economics).
Ancienne boursière de la Fondation, Marine Hadengue est présidente-directrice générale de la Fondation Arbour.
Elle est également PDG de la Higher Education for Good Foundation, une organisation basée en Suisse qui se spécialise dans l’ide aux établissements d’enseignement supérieur pour transformer leurs programmes afin de répondre aux besoins du milieu du 21e siècle. Ainsi, Marine dirige Youth Talks, une initiative révolutionnaire qui marque la toute première consultation mondiale posant des questions ouvertes aux jeunes et utilisant des outils d’IA avancés. Ingénieur de formation, Marine est titulaire d’un doctorat en gestion de l’innovation de l’École polytechnique de Montréal et siège au conseil consultatif international de la Société Peter Drucker.
Michel Brunet practices corporate and commercial law in the Montréal office of Dentons Canada LLP, of which he was President (Chair) from 2005 to 2017. He was Managing Partner of the Montréal office of Fraser Milner Casgrain (FMC) and has served on the firm's National Council. He was also Chief Executive Officer of FMC, one of the founding firms of Dentons. He is a Director of Aéroports de Montréal (ADM) and Azimut Exploration Inc.
Most of her career has been spent in the world of communications and philanthropy. A graduate of the Université de Montréal and HEC Montréal, she was President of the Parents Association of Collège Jean-de-Brébeuf and a member of its Board of Directors. Later, she was entrusted with the reins of the Polytechnique Foundation as President and Chief Executive Officer. Her mandate was to raise $100 million for Polytechnique as part of the Campus Montreal campaign. The goal was exceeded with $111 million collected. She decided at the end of the campaign, in October 2017, to leave and continue to devote herself to other causes that are dear to her. She is the Secretary of the Board for the Fondation des Artistes.
Mr. Monette graduated magna cum laude as a chemical engineer from Polytechnique Montréal and received a diploma in advanced management from Harvard University. He was President and CEO of Johnson & Johnson France, then became President and CEO of Janssen Pharmaceutical in Toronto. He has acted as President of the governance committee at the R.E. Fund of Fonds de Solidarité des Travailleurs du Québec (FSTQ) and served as a member of the board of several institutions including Investissement-Québec and the Real Estate Fund of the FSTQ. He has served as a member of the investment committee of several institutions including the New Economy of the FSTQ and Amorchem, an institutional Life Science investment fund.
Marianna Simeone has enjoyed a distinguished career in international relations, communications and journalism.
For 14 years, she was the Executive Director of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Canada. Under her leadership, the organization became one of the most successful in the worldwide network of Italian Chambers of Commerce abroad.
Marianna’s outstanding communication’s skills have earned her recognition on major Canadian media networks. A radio and television host, columnist and reporter, working in English, French and Italian, her 20-year career in journalism earned her several prestigious awards.
In 2017, Marianna Simeone was appointed as the Quebec Delegate to Italy. Her six-year tenure saw her deepening relations between Quebec and Italy, contributing to ever-increasing trade relations and forging partnerships in the fields of culture and science.
Marianna has been honoured with the Order of Italy for her journalistic work, service to the Italian community and contributions to Canada-Italy relations.
